Hosted by U.S. Pain Foundation CEO Nicole Hemmenway, “Understanding Neuropathic Pain: Treatments and Questions Answered” will feature Dr. Helen Blake, a specialist in pain management from the St. Louis Spine and Orthopedic Surgery Center.

Neuropathic pain affects 7–10% of the U.S. population and can be caused by a wide range of diseases and injuries. This webinar will touch on these causes, what you should do if you or a loved one are affected by neuropathic pain, and what treatment options/specialists are available to help you manage this pain.

Dr. Blake is a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist and Board-Certified Pain Management specialist. She specializes in the care of patients who have been injured at work or in motor vehicle accidents and helps them reclaim their lives after facing unexpected challenges. She has devoted the past nine years of her practice at Pain and Rehabilitation Specialists of Saint Louis to the comprehensive care of her patients and stays current in the most novel of therapies. Dr. Blake has also written the book Move Freely: Get Your Life Back After Injury. She currently resides in Saint Louis, Missouri.
