Our exploration of different treatment modalities through the “Building Your Toolbox” series continues tonight, Sept. 1, at 7:30 pm ET. Our exploration of a wide-range of treatment options is meant to provide you with tools for you to help reduce your pain and increase your overall well-being.
Rick Dyer, MSK, CSCS, CPT—husband of Nicole Hemmenway, U.S. Pain’s CEO—will be sharing tips and exercises for core strengthening. Dyer is director of CrossFit Los Altos and a personal trainer. For nearly 20 years, he has been helping individuals improve their strength, mobility, and overall physical function and health. Dyer is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), and a certified personal trainer (CPT).
While exercise and strength training may be difficult for individuals with chronic pain conditions, Dyer will be able to guide us through modifications and address any questions you may have during this interactive discussion that will be guided by Pain Connection’s Clinical Director, Gwenn Herman, and support group leader, Bobbi Blades.
Thank you to Johnson & Johnson for sponsoring Building Your Toolbox.
