U.S. Pain will hold its third annual Real Hope, Real Heroes Gala: A celebration of real-life heroes on June 2 in Scottsdale, AZ. The goal of the evening is to shed light on the invisibility of pain while also honoring amazing pain warriors. All proceeds go toward U.S. Pain’s programs and services.

This year, the gala will feature participants from the last two editions of the INvisible Project, which highlighted migraine disease and rheumatoid arthritis/rheumatoid disease respectively. The INvisible Project is a print magazine and website that highlights the bravery and perseverance of pain warriors through stories and photos.

“This inspiring event is an opportunity for us to step back and honor pain warriors for facing chronic pain with dignity, strength, and hope,” says Paul Gileno, U.S. Pain president and founder. “The world doesn’t always understand or appreciate what it takes to live day in and day out with chronic pain. They might not understand how much courage it took took to get out of the house on a bad pain day, or to try another treatment after many haven’t worked. But we do. People with pain deserve to be celebrated.”

The event will be held at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas. A cocktail hour and silent auction begins at 6 pm, followed by dinner and dancing.
