Helping individuals understand all their options

Led by two expert patient advocates, this program seeks to increase safe, fair access to medical cannabis for people with chronic pain. It also aims to provide education and resources on medical cannabis as a treatment option.

Tucked inside the massive federal spending bill was a little-noticed provision with enormous consequences: a sweeping ban on nearly all hemp-derived products—including non-intoxicating CBD with trace amounts of THC.

This decision puts patients at risk. It threatens to:

• Cut off access to safe, legal, and effective hemp-derived options for pain relief
• Force people back to riskier or less effective treatments
• Disrupt care for millions living with chronic conditions
• Deepen the already overwhelming crisis of untreated and undertreated pain

For many in our community, hemp-derived products aren’t a luxury—they’re a lifeline.
People living with painful conditions like fibromyalgia, neuropathy, musculoskeletal disorders, or Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Those navigating the daily realities of autoimmune diseases that cause widespread inflammation and pain. Veterans managing lasting injuries. Parents caring for children with complex medical needs. Adults and children alike who live with chronic pain every day.

Across all ages and diagnoses, these individuals rely on hemp-derived products to ease pain, support daily function, and improve quality of life—not to get high, but to stay present in their lives, families, and communities.
