The U.S. Pain Foundation plans to host its virtual advocacy training program, Introduction to Pain Advocacy & Policy Training Series, this October, culminating in a Virtual Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. We are now accepting applications for the free training program.
The program consists of six, two-hour sessions held on Zoom followed by an Advocacy Day, where we are requesting individuals spend a few hours making phone calls, emailing, and using social media to contact federal representatives in Washington, D.C., to ask them to support our efforts to improve pain management and encourage others to do the same.
U.S. Pain Foundation’s Director of Policy and Advocacy, Cindy Steinberg, a prominent and leading pain advocate for more than a decade, will teach and oversee the series. In addition, there will be several experienced guest speakers.
