Living with chronic pain is a journey I never expected to take, and certainly not one that would span more than two decades of my life. This slideshow, 25 Years, Still Standing, is a reflection of that journey—the struggles, the setbacks, but also the moments of resilience, strength, and growth that came along the way.

Chronic pain has a way of reshaping your life in ways big and small. It can take away the routines and freedoms you once took for granted, while also demanding courage, creativity, and determination to find new ways forward. Through it all, I have leaned on my family, friends, and the incredible pain community for support, encouragement, and hope. Their presence has reminded me that even when the days feel dark, I am not walking this road alone.

This project is not just about looking back on 25 years of pain—it’s about honoring perseverance. It’s about celebrating the ways I’ve managed to adapt, contribute, and keep standing despite the challenges. My hope in sharing this story is that it resonates with others living with pain, and reminds you that your voice, your story, and your strength matter too.
