On Thursday, March 4, at 8 pm ET, U.S. Pain will host a webinar, “Understanding the COVID-19 vaccine,” as part of the Pain Education Portal (PEP) Talk series.
Following an introduction by pain expert Edward Bilsky, PhD, two academic researchers in microbiology and pathology — Kimberly Taylor, PhD, and Julie Randolph-Habecker, PhD — will discuss the science behind the COVID-19 vaccine. Drs. Randolph-Habecker and Taylor will also take time to answer questions about the vaccine from the audience.
This webinar is presented in collaboration with Pacific Northwest University (PNWU) of Health Sciences in Yakima, WA.

Dr. Bilsky is Provost and Chief Academic Officer at PNWU Health Sciences, and a member of the U.S. Pain Board of Directors; Dr. Taylor is an Associate Professor of Microbiology and Chief of the Division of Microbiology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at PNWU Heatlh Science; and Dr. Randolph-Habecker is an Associate Professor of Pathology at PNWU Health Sciences and an Adjunct Professor in the Nursing Program at Heritage University in Toppenish Washington.
